Little Pond Renovation

While beautifully crafted inside and out, the existing home left much to be desired in the main floor living area. The original plan was segmented and rooms were cut off from one another.

In order to remediate this, all of the interior walls on the main level were removed, replaced by three steel beams. The exterior wall was pushed out to meet the existing full foundation wall supporting the outer edge of the original covered porch and a new covered porch was added on to match the original character of the home. The result - a space completely open, connecting, and inviting boasting a beautiful centrally located kitchen and large island perfect for entertaining, or just enjoying family time.
